LivingLandscapeFestivalWe’re very pleased to announce that we’ll be providing short tours at the very first Cotswold themed festival which is taking place at the 17th-century Lodge Park in the Cotswold country estate of Sherborne in Gloucestershire.

The Cotswolds Living Landscape festival takes place on Sunday 18th of September and is organised by the Cotswolds Conservation Board in partnership with the National Trust and it’s one of a number of events taking place this year to mark the 50th anniversary of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

The festival will showcase the very best of the Cotswolds including (amongst many other things) rural crafts, locally produced food & drink, guided short walks, rural skills & livestock displays and, of course, Go Cotswolds Tours!

From live music to a dry stone walling competitions and from locally produced beer to livestock displays the event promises to be a memorable occasion and we’ll be there to provide hour long taster tours from the festival site.

Our tours will involve a drive through the beautiful Cotswolds countryside surrounding the Sherbourne country estate and a short stop where we’ll provide a short introduction to the Cotswolds including stats, facts and folklore. The tours will take place at various times throughout the day (exact timings to be confirmed) costing £5pp for adults and £3.50pp for children.

For more details about the Cotswolds Living Landscape Festival read the news article on the Conservation Board’s website and to buy your tickets visit http://www.cotswoldsaonb.org.uk/festival.

Due to our involvement with the Living Landscape festival there will be no regular tour of the Cotswolds from Stratcford-upon-Avon on Sunday 18th of September. We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused – we hope that you are able to join us on Friday 16th of September instead.
