Go Cotswolds provides small-group day tours of the Cotswolds from Stratford-upon-Avon and Moreton-in-Marsh on Wednesdays, Thursdays*, Fridays and Sundays, a Purity Brewery brewery and Cotswolds pub tour on the first Saturday of the month as well as charter tours and private hire on request.
Go Cotswolds is owned and operated by me, Tom Benjamin (that’s me above in front of the Go Cotswolds minibus – hello!).
The Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty begins a 15 minute drive away from Stratford-upon-Avon and until we began providing tours in 2014 there was no regular, practical and affordable way for visitors based there (or in Leamington Spa, Chipping Campden or Moreton-in-Marsh) to see many of the most beautiful parts of the area a day without their own transport or by hiring a prohibitively expensive taxi.
We want everyone to know that it is possible to visit the fantastic town of Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotswolds in one vacation and it won’t cost you a fortune! So, we heartily recommend that when you visit the UK you take trip out of London, spend some time in Stratford-upon-Avon and join us on a tour.
Even if you’re not staying in Stratford-upon-Avon it’s still possible to join us a day tour of the Cotswolds as we provide pick-ups from Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon and Moreton-in-Marsh rail stations making it a great day tour from London, Oxford, Birmingham – or even further afield!
As for me, I’m from a small village just outside Stratford-upon-Avon and I have a passion for travel. Over the last 12 years I’ve spent large amounts of time ambling around this awesome planet of ours.
I’ve been very fortunate to do all sorts of different things! I’ve played cricket in Australia, hitch-hiked through Botswana, floated through Keralan backwaters in India, driven across the USA, clambered over the Andes, drunk nut vodka in Poland etc etc but I’ve always come back to my home here, on the edge of the Cotswolds.
Why? Because it’s stunningly awesome and I’d like to show you the area that I know and love.
I’m a local so my intimate knowledge of the area ensures visitors get to experience the best parts from a local’s perspective. This means that we not only visit the places you see pictured in the guidebooks but also those hidden, off-the-beaten-track places you’d only know about if you lived here yourself.
Go Cotswolds opened for business in July 2014 and we’ve had a fantastic response to our tours so far. We’ve taken over 3,400 visitors on tours of the Cotswolds from 72 different nations including visitors from 43 different states of the USA!
