Today is 11th July 2025, which means Go Cotswolds is officially 11 years old! What an incredible journey it has been so far.
On our very first minibus tour through the winding Cotswold lanes, Tom had just one passenger! And now we welcome thousands of guests from all over the world to the Cotswolds. We’re feeling pretty proud – and maybe just a tiny bit emotional!
To celebrate our 11th trip around the sun — and also because 11 has a nice ring to it (definitely not because we left things to the last minute… honest!) — we’re marking the occasion with something brand new and very exciting.
Drum roll please… introducing our Cotswold Castle & Lavender Fields tour!
That’s right — we’re trialling a brand new Go Cotswolds experience on Tuesday 22nd July, for one date only (for now!). You’re invited to be among the very first to experience it!
At the special price of £50 per adult and £40 per child, here’s where you’ll have the chance to wander:
- Cotswold Lavender – Prepare to be wowed by rows upon rows of fragrant purple blooms in full summer glory. There are wildflower meadows, traditional grasslands, and a woodland trail for kids too. A true feast for the eyes, the nose and the camera roll!
- Sudeley Castle – A historic gem nestled in the Cotswold hills, the gorgeous Sudeley Castle was once the home of King Henry VIII’s last queen, Catherine Parr. The romantic castle ruins, impressive hose and stunning gardens have many stories to tell.
- Blockley – Explore this classic, picturesque Cotswold village, which fans of TV’s ‘Father Brown’ will instantly recognise as the fictional “Kembleford”. Come and see the filming locations in this beautiful village.
You’ll get all the relaxed vibes, expert guiding, and good humour you’ve come to expect from Go Cotswolds – plus the chance to say “I did it first!”. If the test event on July 22nd goes well, we’ll launch this as a fully fledged fixture on the Go Cotswolds tour schedule for summer 2026!
