Go Cotswolds ‘Brewery, Pub Lunch & The Cotswolds’ tour

It’s a bit of a mouthful of a title, huh! But we wanted the name of our tour to ‘do exactly what it says on the tin’, as an old advertising slogan once said!

On our Brewery, Pub Lunch & The Cotswolds tour, you’ll get to:

  • Tour an award-winning craft brewery in the heart of the English countryside, then sample their beers, of course!
  • Enjoy a delicious one-course lunch and drink at a fantastic 15th century country pub on the edge of the Cotswolds
  • Visit two beautiful Cotswolds locations for sightseeing, exploring and shopping – or more Cotswold hospitality if you wish!

Tickets cost £75 per person (strictly over 18s only), which includes:

  • 90-minute brewery tour, plus tasting
  • A one-course lunch and drink
  • Transport in our super comfortable, air-conditioned/heated Mercedes minibus
  • Guided tour by one our friendly, local guides – who is also your all-important designated driver!

Go Cotswolds brewery tour in partnership with Purity Brewing Co.

After picking you up from your chosen meeting point, then we’ll drive you through the pretty Warwickshire countryside. We’ll reach our first – and arguably most important – stop!

Thanks to our friends at Purity Brewing Co., you’ll enjoy a 90-minute brewery tour. Here, you’ll learn all about this award-winning craft beer producer and their “pure” eco-conscious approach. The tour ends with a generous open bar tasting session. Then, you’ll be able to try at least a pint of ale, and time to stock up in the Purity shop.

Feast at The Fleece

After the Go Cotswolds brewery tour, then we’ll take you to the pretty Worcestershire village of Bretforton, located on the edge of the Cotswolds. This is home to the wonderfully historic and atmospheric Fleece Inn.

Originally built in the early 15th Century, this building is of such historical importance that it is now owned by the National Trust. This organisation (and a British institution!) preserves historic buildings for future generations.

The Fleece Inn has many stories to tell! As well as enjoying a delicious lunch and a drink at The Fleece, you’ll also be treated to a lively and fascinating talk by the pub’s brilliant landlord Nigel (or a member of his team).

Cotswolds pubs and more

After lunch at The Fleece Inn, then we’ll whisk you off to the charming Cotswolds “wool town” of Chipping Campden. Already a hit with customers on our Cotswolds in a Day tour, beer lovers can continue their ale trail by exploring some or all of Chipping Campden’s five wonderful pubs!

Alternatively, you might prefer to explore the town’s independent boutiques, grab a coffee in one of many cafés, or admire the historic Cotswolds stone buildings and thatched cottages. We’ll provide you with a map pointing out some of our favourite places, so you won’t get lost.

To round off your Cotswolds brewery tour, then we’ll make one final stop at a ‘secret’ Cotswolds village. There are so many lovely little villages in the Cotswolds that the exact village we visit may change from tour to tour. But, you can be sure that it will be beautiful, there will be at least one lovely pub, and there will be plenty of photo opportunities.
