As you may have read on our blog back in September, Tom and Go Cotswolds were nominated in a number of categories of the inaugural Cotswolds Awards.

We’ve been so excited about the results, which were announced last week, that we almost forgot to blog about it, so here goes: WE WON!

We were up against stiff competition in the ‘Business of the Year’ category, with the very worthy winners being Cirencester-based Big Yellow Marketing. Tom didn’t have much of a chance in the ‘Cotswolds Personality of the Year’ category either, considering he was up against Adam Henson, celebrity farmer and owner of the Cotswolds Farm Park!

BUT! According to the wonderful people who voted in the awards, Go Cotswolds is now officially the Best Tour Company in the Cotswolds! Yippee!!

It seems our customers agree too, since we recently hit the milestone of 100 ‘excellent’ TripAdvisor reviews! (We also have 3 ‘very good’ reviews – must’ve been tough crowds… 😉 ) We’re ranked #2 in the ‘Tours and Activities’ category for Stratford-upon-Avon, second only to the excellent Stratford Town Walk, who’ve been going for years and years, while we only started operating in July 2014.

We were also very kindly mentioned in a recent blog post by Manor Cottages of Burford!

Thank you to everyone who has been on one of our Cotswolds tours, brewery and pub tours, hired us for a private tour or transport, followed us on Twitter or Facebook, and to everyone who has supported us along the way. As we approach the end of 2015 (can you believe it?!) we’re excited about what 2016 will bring!
