Careers at Go Cotswolds

Join our team of Driver-Guides!

  • ✅ Do you have a local connection with Stratford-upon-Avon and The Cotswolds?
  • ✅ Do you love history, and sharing knowledge and stories?
  • ✅ Are you a fun, friendly, kind and confident person who loves meeting people from all over the world?

As a popular, growing family business, we’re always on the look-out for warm, engaging individuals to join our small team of expert tour guides.

If you’re passionate about British heritage, sustainable tourism, and making meaningful connections with curious travellers, you might be just who we’re looking for!

Who We Are

Go Cotswolds is a local, family-run company providing fun, friendly tours of the Cotswolds. Stratford-on-Avon is our home, but we just love to show visitors around the beautiful Cotswolds, our ‘back yard’!

Since 2014, we’ve helped thousands of visitors from all over the world to explore the towns, villages and views of the Cotswolds, and to experience our friendly hospitality!

What We’re Looking For

An encyclopaedic knowledge of the history, facts and figures of this area is not the most important thing.

We’re in the business of looking after people, and helping them to create amazing memories of their short time in our special part of England. So, you’ll be:

  • An excellent storyteller – bring history and places to life through engaging, well-researched narratives sprinkled with your own stories and fun, friendly personality.
  • Friendly and professional – Our driver-guides align with our company values: friendly, welcoming, kind, inclusive and responsible.
  • A confident driver – We operate 16-seater minibuses, so a full D/D1 licence or experience driving large vehicles is a big plus. However, we’re happy to provide training and support for the right candidates.
  • Organised and proactive – Our guides manage the flow of the day, adapt to unexpected changes, and ensure everything runs smoothly to give our guests the best experience possible.

What We Offer

  • Competitive rates of pay
  • Flexible hours, full and part-time opportunities
  • Full training and route familiarisation
  • D1 licence training available if required
  • A supportive, close-knit team with regular social events
  • The opportunity to call the beautiful Cotswolds countryside your ‘office’!

How to Apply

If you’re interested in careers at Go Cotswolds, please email your CV and a short covering note explaining why you’d make a great addition to our team to info@gocotswolds.co.uk. We’d also love to hear about your favourite place in the Cotswolds and why you’d recommend it to a visitor!
