  • Want to visit the real-life locations of Jeremy Clarkson’s Cotswolds’ adventures?

Then this is the tour for you!

In association with our friends at Brit Movie Tours, we’re excited to launch our brand-new, half-day Clarkson’s Farm tour! Visit the famous Diddly Squat Farm Shop, Hawkstone Brewery and The Farmer’s Dog pub, plus revel in the gorgeous Cotswolds countryside that provides the backdrop for this hit Amazon Prime series.

Itinerary for the Half-Day Clarkson’s Farm tour:

After picking you up from Moreton-in-Marsh railway station at 09.30 or 13.45, you’ll visit the following locations:

  • Jeremy’s rival shop – Close to Moreton-in-Marsh is the organic farm shop where Jeremy decided to create his own farm shop at Diddly Squat
  • Gerald’s village and Jeremy’s farmhouse – A beautifully scenic drive brings us to Chadlington – Gerald’s home town, and where you’ll also see the village hall used for the heated public meeting with Oxfordshire County Council. There’s also a distant view of Jeremy’s farmhouse.
  • Diddly Squat Farm Shop – While we won’t have time to queue for the main shop (it can take hours!), you’ll have time for photos and to grab some quick snacks if you wish.
  • Hawkstone Brewery – On the edge of the pretty village of Bourton-on-the-Water, you’ll have time to grab a quick drink or pick up souvenirs at Jeremy and Caleb’s very own brewery.
  • Burford – We’ll drive through the picturequese and historic market town of Burford, ‘gateway to the Cotswolds’.
  • The flour mill – where Jeremy’s barley was milled in Seasons 1 and 4.
  • The Windrush Valley – where the team celebrates in a pub at the end of Season 4.
  • The Farmer’s Dog & The Grand Tour tent – Enjoy a drink at Jeremy’s pub, and pick up some local produce in the Grand Tour tent.

Train travel

From London (Paddington station), Reading, Oxford, Charlbury, Kingham, Honeybourne, Evesham or Worcester, take a direct train to Moreton-in-Marsh. We’ll pick you up from right outside Moreton-in-Marsh train station.

We always recommend you buy a flexible ‘anytime’ ticket that allows you to take any train. The times stated above are usually the latest we expect to get to the drop-off points – we are often a few minutes earlier, but we can never 100% guarantee this. If you have a flexible ticket, then you can take an earlier train and won’t have to wait around.

However, if you wish to book a particular train to take advantage of cheaper ‘advance single’ tickets, then we recommend you plan to depart after the drop-off times stated above.

We recommend The Trainline* for online train ticket bookings. Book train tickets 6-8 weeks ahead of the travel date (and no more than 12 weeks ahead) for the best prices.

What to wear?

Please dress in comfortable clothes that are appropriate for the weather conditions. Bring a raincoat or umbrella if it’s raining, and a hat, water and sunscreen if it’s hot. Wear comfortable shoes.
