July has absolutely whizzed by but it’s been an especially special month for Go Cotswolds as – after months of research and planning– we finally got to take our first customers out.
And it’s been a brilliant experience so far. To think that we didn’t even have a minibus six weeks ago and now we have reviews on TripAdvisor and bookings for the next five tours shows how far things have progressed!
Hopefully over the course of the rest of the summer we get to show more people to the Cotswolds – an area that I absolutely adore and know so well.
The tours run EVERY Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and take in a number of Cotswolds classics – such as Chipping Campden, Broadway Tower and Bourton-on-the-Water – as well as a number of off-the-beaten-track places that larger tour operators simply wouldn’t know about let alone be able to get to.
It’s always been our aim to set up a regular affordable Cotswolds tour from Stratford-upon-Avon that visitors to the town can rely upon – always going out to the Cotswolds on specified days irrespective of numbers.
So far the response we’ve had from both customers and people from Stratford has been really positive. Hopefully this can continue as we look to establish ourselves as a ‘thing to do’ whilst in Stratford-upon-Avon.
I know it’s going to be a great challenge but it’s one with which I’ve thoroughly enjoyed so far. Roll on the rest of the summer!
