1. Part-time Minibus Cleaner: Help us sparkle!

Posted 7th May 2025

  • ✅ Live locally to Bidford-on-Avon and looking for part-time hours, which can work around other commitments?
  • ✅ Do you take pride in making things sparkle and shine, and have an eagle-eye for detail?
  • ✅ Are you a reliable, friendly and behind-the-scenes hero who loves a job well done?

If you take pride in a job well done, enjoy working independently, and love the idea of helping us create a sparkling first impression for our tour guests, you might be just who we’re looking for!

Our fleet of four 16-seater Mercedes Sprinter minibuses are our pride and joy. We’re looking for a friendly, hardworking individual for 2 hours a day (early mornings), 7 days a week (job share considered) to ensure our minibuses leave our base each day clean, tidy and professional, ready to receive guests from all over the world.

The job includes:

  • Washing the vehicles externally.
  • Sweeping out and mopping the insides.
  • Cleaning the windows.
  • Removing any litter and debris from around the cabin.
  • General tidying/surface cleaning.
  • Other small upkeep tasks

Because of our rural location, and the hours of work offered, you’ll need to live within walking distance of our base at Bidavon Industrial Estate, Bidford-on-Avon, or live nearby and have your own transport. Free parking is available on site.

What we offer

  • Part-time, permanent position – 2 hours per day (6.30-8.30AM, with some flexibility)
  • Cleaner required 7 days a week (though we’re willing to consider a weekday/weekend job-share)
  • Full training, all cleaning materials and PPE provided
  • A friendly, close-knit team with regular social events

How to Apply

If you’re interested in joining our cleaning team, please email us your CV (info@gocotswolds.co.uk) and, more importantly, a cover letter explaining why you think you’d be a great fit for this role and the Go Cotswolds team. You can also apply via Indeed, here.

2. Be the next Go Cotswolds Driver-Guide!

Ongoing

  • ✅ Do you have a local connection with Stratford-upon-Avon and The Cotswolds?
  • ✅ Do you love history, and sharing knowledge and stories?
  • ✅ Are you a fun, friendly, kind and confident person who loves meeting people from all over the world?

We’re always on the look-out for warm, engaging individuals to join our small team of expert tour guides.

If you’re passionate about British heritage, sustainable tourism, and making meaningful connections with curious travellers, you might be just who we’re looking for!

What We’re Looking For

An encyclopaedic knowledge of the history, facts and figures of this area is not the most important thing.

We’re in the business of looking after people, and helping them to create amazing memories of their short time in our special part of England. So, you’ll be:

  • An excellent storyteller – bring history and places to life through engaging, well-researched narratives sprinkled with your own stories and fun, friendly personality.
  • Friendly and professional – Our driver-guides align with our company values: friendly, welcoming, kind, inclusive and responsible.
  • A confident driver – We operate 16-seater minibuses, so a full D/D1 licence or experience driving large vehicles is a big plus. However, we’re happy to provide training and support for the right candidates.
  • Organised and proactive – Our guides manage the flow of the day, adapt to unexpected changes, and ensure everything runs smoothly to give our guests the best experience possible.

What We Offer

  • Competitive rates of pay
  • Flexible hours, full and part-time opportunities
  • Full training and route familiarisation
  • D1 licence training available if required
  • A supportive, close-knit team with regular social events
  • The opportunity to call the beautiful Cotswolds countryside your ‘office’!

How to Apply

If you’re interested in careers at Go Cotswolds, please email your CV and a short covering note explaining why you’d make a great addition to our team to info@gocotswolds.co.uk. We’d also love to hear about your favourite place in the Cotswolds and why you’d recommend it to a visitor!
