Access Statement

We have 5 Mercedes minibus vehicles that can each seat 16 people plus the driver.

“Ginny”, “Beverley”, “Tiffany” (pictured) and “Guinevere” each have seats in pairs on the offside of the vehicle, and in a single row on the nearside with a central aisle. There are three seats across the back of the minibus. Ginny and Guinevere have aisle seats which can extend into the central aisle to allow extra room for persons of larger size.

“Katie” has seats in pairs on the offside of the vehicle, and in a single row on the nearside with a central aisle. There are four seats across the back of the minibus.

Our company is a registered PSV Operator (licence number PD2019742) licensed by the West Midlands Traffic Commissioner of the to operate five 16-seater minibus vehicles.

Access to each minibus is on the nearside, up 3 clearly marked steps; this will benefit you if you have a visual impairment.

At the top of the steps on the left is a handrail for your convenience.

We do not have wheelchair access but if you wish to bring a lightweight, manual folding wheelchair or walker (for your convenience) and are able to use the steps we would be happy to transport this during the tour. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like to bring a wheelchair or walker.

Our friendly guides are always happy to help. However, for the safety and liability of our team members kindly note:

  • Tour guests are responsible for loading/unloading luggage, including mobility equipment, on/off of the minibus, and for folding/unfolding wheelchairs, walkers etc.
  • The luggage compartment in our vehicles is quite high off the ground, so your luggage/equipment will need to be lifted into the vehicle. Our driver-guides reserve the right to decline to help you with heavy luggage that poses a risk of injury.
  • We’re sorry, we cannot transport non-foldable manual wheelchairs, or any electric wheelchairs or mobility scooters – these items are very heavy, with fragile electronic parts, and are often too large to fit in our luggage compartment.
  • We cannot offer personal assistance, including but not limited to pushing wheelchairs, transferring passengers from a wheelchair to the minibus, acting as a sighted guide, etc.

Guests who require personal assistance should be accompanied by someone who can provide such personal assistance, and consider whether a Go Cotswolds tour is suitable.

All minibuses have a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit. Our driver-guides are trained to use this equipment.
