Caring for the Cotswolds 2017: £500 raised – thank you for your donations!

A huge thank you to all of our customers who donated to Caring for the Cotswolds in 2017. We’re delighted to announce that we raised £500 to go towards the scheme!

We’re proud supporters of Caring for the Cotswolds, a scheme (set up and run by the Cotswolds Conservation Board) which offers visitors the opportunity to donate towards a range of important landscape and environmental projects that help to conserve the Cotswolds’ natural beauty and ensure it can be enjoyed by future generations.

In the first year we contributed £250 and in 2017 we’re delighted to have doubled our contribution to £500. Nick Holliday, Deputy Chair at the Cotswolds Conservation Board, said: “Well done Go Cotswolds – very much appreciated. Worth its weight in gold, just like the Cotswolds Lion fleece used to be! Thanks again on behalf of the Board to you, your partner and, of course, your customers.”

Visitors can contribute to Caring for the Cotswolds when buying products and services from companies based in the Cotswolds. Making a donation through Go Cotswolds is easy – simply click on the amount you wish to donate at the check-out page when booking your tickets and it will automatically be added to your order. We match fund your donations pound for pound (so, for example, if you donate £1 so do we!) and at the end of the year we pass the total on to the scheme.

Thank you so much for your support!

For more information on the scheme please head to the Caring for the Cotswolds page on the Cotswolds Conservation Board’s Website.
